Share 'Eating cooked lima beans in the shell - poisonous?'

Hi Folks, I have about 20 bush bean plants, and the blue lakes and lima bean plants got mixed up. Honestly, they all look the same to me. I've been harvesting the beans and cooking them in the shell. I don't know if the beans we've been eating are early limas or the others. I understand that the limas are poisonous raw, but are they poisonous cooked in the shell? Thanks, Leah
