Thanks, Jessica. Your garden looks great too! I see that Livonia is near Detroit. Are your winters harsh? Seems like many parts of he country had a very long winter this year, including Seattle. We received quite a few snowfalls, whereas normally it only snows once or twice (or not at all), then melts quickly.

Well let's see what did I do today? I planted my chives, finally moving them to a bed rather than in their little pots in the greenhouse, I planted a couple of more bush beans, I took my tomatoes out the greenhouse to let them play in the yard during the sunshine and put them back in for their bedtime so their toes don't get cold at night :) I showed my garden's progress to some new friends. Tom put in a watering valve for the tomato bed (I'm not going to plant them until after May 1). We began to put together a fence to keep the dog out of the tomato bed, as he is a husky, likes to dig, and we will be burying fishheads under the tomato plants, and he LOVES fish! I weeded a little, (just tending the beds) I put up a frame around the raspberries and covered it with birdnetting, though I need more netting. I fed the birds, the chickens, the alpacas, the dog, the cat. I cleaned up a bit and we shared a home brew with our new friends. I pinched my basil to help them branch out, and cut out some rosemary because it's just getting way too big. That's been this spring day. :)

I don't want to make our community hide bound by rules and regulations but I think that, as the community has grown, some explanation of what is expected is needed.
