Please - my name is Devinder Sadana - in office I am addressed as Sadana [that's in office & official, hence]. At home - Devinder [as all in my family are Sadana(s)]. Please call me Sadana OR just Dev.
Beetal is the best breed of goat in Punjab area - in terms of milk and meat both. GREATELY contributes to organic agriculture. In a breed conservation programme our team have raised number of Beetal goats in the area. Attaching some pics. You are amongst those who maintain such local breeds and save them from extinction [something many local breeds are facing]. Saving the local breeeds helps save the local production systems which generally are organic hence more valuable today.
GulGul is not right as goat feed or cattle feed. It's best use is - as your respected Mom does - as 'Achar' [pickle], or source of juice for lemon squash [full of vit. C].
Enjoyed your points. Am trying to put in photos of Beetal goats.

m wondering if you might be able to provide a few leads. I'm writing a feature story for Family Circle Magazine on women who are helping to feed the hungry through gardening. We're looking for women who have started nonprofit organizations or are contributing their time as volunteers. If you know of any women/organizations that might be a fit, please send them my way. Thanks for your help!

Best, Shelley

Seen all 180 photos by you - liked each one. Several are unique. Liked the Bamboo Skin - that's what we used during childhood by directing water and creating mini water falls. In goat - which is the breed? GulGul is the same as in our place in Himachal Pradesh here, and called by the same name. YOUR Photos can make anyone start gardening.

I loved looking at the goats, and the newly born kids, and their feeding, and the superb looking tomatoes. You have a nice and spacious garden.

Those tomatoes are wonderful. I see you've been growing some "upside down". We've not tried it and am wondering how well the system works. What is your assessment? Do you make cheese from the goat milk too?

Hi Muhammad, the tomatoes look wonderful like the rest of your garden. Are you going to eat those lovely little goats or use the milk.

Dear Nadeem Sahib,

Thanks for your encouraging response. Would it be convenient for you to have a session for exchanging ideas in relation to our emerging project on school gardening over the week end. I live in Shehzad Town and could come over to NARC farms or any other place you like.

I am impressed of your expertise, creativity and commitment for the cause of 'Food for All'. There are quite bright prospects for popularizing the idea of 'school gardening' in Pakistan, and for this to happen NCHD can be a potential platform in achieving tengible results. I would give you a call to fix our meeting. Thanks.

Best Wishes and Profound Regards,

Ghulam Qasim Khan
