Hi Diane,

Fenugreek is a leafy green generally available during winter in India. Here in the US, I find the best fenugreek during winters and spring in the Indian stores. I grew these last summer, and though I had many harvests I think they didnt take heat too well. During peak summer, their growth was slow with smaller leaves. So my guess is they like cooler weather of spring or fall. And ofcourse some sun and normal watering depending on how hot it gets. This is the first time I am growing fenugreek indoors during winter. I put the pot against sunny windowsill and its growing well but slower than when grown outdoors. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Welcome to KGI. I would love to hear more about what you grow and how you prepare your food.
I love chili added to food. I know only a little about the different varieties and how drying alters the flavor.

Hello Glenn, I sow seeds for tomatoes sometimes in September. The plants live for 2 years, but it is advisable to replace them after one year.

Hi Muhammad You have a great garden, the soil looks quite sandy, but it must be very fertile. If your tomatoes grow all year round, what time of year do you sow your seeds and how long do the plants live?

I would be happy to hear any comments you may have.  This is very much a work in progress so plese feel free to ask me to add anything you think is needed.

I don't want to make our community hide bound by rules and regulations but I think that, as the community has grown, some explanation of what is expected is needed.
